Emperor Karl League of Prayer: Lecture Mini-Series

On Wed. Sept. 27 and Wed. Oct. 4, Suzanne Pearson of the Emperor Karl League of Prayer will deliver lectures on Bl. Karl as Patron for Young People and on Bl. Karl's Amazing Faith, respectively. Each lecture will be at 7 p.m. and will be held at St. Mary Mother of God in Washington, DC.

ALMS Speaker Series: Dr. Peter Kwasniewski

Join us at Holy Family Academy on Monday, October 16 at 6:30 p.m. for the October installment of the ALMS Speaker Series, on "Liturgical Obedience, the Imitation of Christ, and the Seductions of Autonomy."

Dr. Kwasniewski is a renowned theological and liturgical scholar, a regular contributor to publications including New Liturgical Movement, One Peter Five, Rorate Caeli, LifeSiteNews, and Latin Mass Magazine, and a composer of sacred music. Among his most recent works are 'The Once and Future Roman Rite' (TAN Books, 2022) and 'The Road from Hyperpapalism to Catholicism' (Arouca, 2022).

Emperor Karl League of Prayer: Feast Day Mass and Lectures

On Sat. Oct. 21 at 2 p.m., the Emperor Karl League of Prayer will be sponsoring the annual Solemn Mass for the Feast of Bl. Karl of Austria at St. Mary Mother of God in Washington, DC. (Due to the Archdiocese of Washington's implementation of Traditionis custodes, this Mass will be in the Novus Ordo.) 

Veneration of the relic of Bl. Karl will follow, and Archduke Paul Hapsburg, son of Hungarian ambassador to the Holy See Eduard Hapsburg and cousin of Bl. Karl, will be in attendance.
